Born October 14th, 1930 to Mack Jordan and Florence Smith of Rogers, Maxine married Billy Charles Boyd on September 27, 1948. She worked at the Munsingware factory making stockings and hosiery for many years. Eventually quitting that job to run her own daycare nursery called the "Humpty Dumpty," she subsequently retired to raise her children.
Maxine and Bill adopted two children; a boy, Hunter, and a girl, BillieAnn. They later also adopted their grandson, William. She attended the Sunnyside Baptist church for many decades, raising her family there. Maxine was a great cook, baker, seamstress, and avid supporter of her friends and family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Mack and Florence Jordan of Rogers; one brother, Dale Jordan of Joplin, MO; her husband, Bill Boyd of the home; her daughter, BillieAnn Boyd of Monticello, AR; and her son, Steven Hunter Boyd of Albuquerque, NM.
Maxine is survived by her brother, Cecil Jordan of Decatur, AR; her sister, Brenda Fields of Clackamas, OR; and her grandson, William Boyd of the home. She is also survived by three other beloved grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
