Mary G Byrne

Mary G. Byrne, died November 7, 2011 at Circle of Life Legacy Village in Bentonville, AR. She was born on January 6, 1928 in South Bend, IN to the late Frank G. and Gertrude L. (Schill) Welsch. She was a life-long Catholic. She grew up in Wauwatosa, WI and attended Wauwatosa High School. She graduated from Washington University in St. Louis, MO with a B.S. in retail. She was member of Delta Delta Delta soroiety. She married Robert E. Byrne in 1954 and lived in Los Angeles.

She was proceeded in death by her parents and one son, Michael T. Byrne.

Mary is survived by her husband of 57 years, Robert E. Byrne of Rogers, AR; sons, Stephen and Kimberly Byrne of Bentonville, AR, Christopher Byrne of Lomita, CA, and Charles Byrne of Mammoth, CA; daughters, Sally and Patrick Finney of Garfield, AR and Paula and Peter Alu of The Big Island, HI; brother, Thomas and Maria Welsch of Hoffman Estates, IL; sister, Judith Magnus of Wauwatosa, WI; 8 grandchildren, several step grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Mary spent over 30 years volunteering for St Anne's Maternity Hospital for Unwed Mothers in Los Angeles, CA. She loved to shop, do crafts, decorate, make silk floral wreaths and go to lunch with her numerous friends.

A Memorial Service will be held in Los Angeles, CA at a later date.

Burial will be a private graveside service in Wisconsin at a later date.
