Marilyn Jean Abrahamson, 85, passed away on August 4, 2021 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She was born on September 3, 1935 in Monroe County, Iowa to the late William and Ellen (Carter) Griffin. She was a longtime resident of Gentry, Arkansas. She was the loving wife of Robert Abrahamson, for 64 years and a sweet mother to 3 children and grandmother to 6 grandchildren.
She loved spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed spending time in her vegetable garden and then canning what she grew. Marilyn also had a flower garden and enjoyed watching them grow and the butterflies that visited. She had a fascination with squirrels and loved seeing them run around the yard.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents and brother, William Griffin.
She is survived by her husband, Robert; children, Karen Abrahamson, Kevin Abrahamson and wife, Julie, and Kimberly Byrne and husband, Stephen; 6 grandchildren, Jessica, Kassie, and Brody Abrahamson, Lucas, Jaxon, and Nicholas Byrne; and brother, Charles Griffin and his wife, Lynette.
She had a great love for Jesus and looked forward to His soon return, now she will rest until He calls her home.
