Harold Lynn Howard, Sr., 80, passed away on February 3, 2024 at his home in Rogers. He was surrounded by his family, love, peace and Patsy Cline. He was born on April 16, 1943 in Artesia, New Mexico to the late Ammon N. and Martha L. (Wilson) Howard. He was the loving husband of Virgie “Pauline” (Faught) Howard for 59 years. He was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in 1968.
He drove for multiple trucking companies for many years. He loved being on the road driving his rigs. He went on to become a great diesel mechanic. While he was home he took solace in fishing, collecting “antiques”, especially coal oil lamps and lanterns. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, and his other family members.
Harold was preceded in death by his three sisters and brother.
He is survived by his wife, Pauline Howard of Rogers; sons, Terry Howard of Rogers and H. Lynn Howard, Jr. and his wife Shannon of Ft. Smith; daughters, Dana Roth and her husband Jeff of Rogers and Tanya Riebel and her husband Eddie of Rogers; grandchildren, Chris (Kristen) Howard, Cory (Julie) Howard, Haley (Austin) Anderson, Katilyn L. Howard, Meghan (Luke) Handley, Whitney Brown, Jordan Riebel Jones, and Avery Riebel; and 13 great- grandchildren.
Services will be held March 2, 2024 at 11am in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 301 NE Hudson Rd in Rogers, Arkansas.
