Chip was born July 27, 1958 in Houston, TX to Forrest (Frosty) and Zola (Mullen) Bailey. He was a resident of Centerton, AR after living in Houston and New York City. He was a retired Houston TX Firefighter and recently retired Assistant Baseball Coach at McDonald County High School. He had a passion for life and loved his family. He spent many hours working to coach baseball from the T-ball level to High School. He was described by friends and family as having a “servant heart”.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Regina Stracener Bailey of Centerton, AR, two sons; Forrest A. Bailey, III (Gretchen) of Spring, TX, and Craig A. Bailey of Fayetteville AR., His father, Forrest Bailey of Montgomery, TX; sisters, Marsha Barbaria (Richie) of Ft Myers, FL; Debbie Clift (Randy) of Montgomery, TX; Mother-in-law, Wilma Stracener of Houston, & Step-grandson, Cowan Adams of Spring, TX.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, February 24, 2017 at Rollins Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Rollins Funeral Home Chapel, Rogers, Arkansas, with Pastor Jamie Lantzsch officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery in Houston, TX.
