Elsie M Powell

Elsie May (Tombaugh) Powell, age 72, of Gravette, AR passed away on August 23rd , 2010 in Springdale. Elsie was born September 4, 1937 in Kearney, Nebraska. As a child her family moved to Wichita, KS and later she moved to northwest Arkansas.

She was preceded in death by her parents Delphos and Pearl Tombaugh, one sister Maridell and one grandson Christopher.

She is survived by one brother Marvin Tombaugh of Wichita, KS, six children Elizabeth and husband Lemuel Teed of Rogers, AR, Darrell and wife Donna Powell, Jr. of Gravette, AR, Philip Powell of Bella Vista, AR, Rachel and husband Mike Lewis of Spavinaw, OK, Tim Powell of the home, Dallas Powell of Bentonville, AR, 12 grandchildren , 4 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 27th at 1:00 PM at The Rogers First Church of the Nazarene in Rogers. A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 26th from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Rollins Funeral Home Chapel in Rogers. Service will be officiated by Pastor Alan Johnson and Pastor Lonnie Witt. Interment will be in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Hiwasse.
