She was a member of the Pea Ridge United Methodist Church. She was a woman of great faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, James Edwards, and son-in-law, Tommy Carlton.
She is survived by sons, George Edwards and wife Hideko Nakanishi of Rogers; Larry Edwards of Rogers, Robert Edwards and wife Edwina of Rockwall, TX; daughters, Jean Carlton of Arkoma, OK, and Cathy and husband Bill Reineka of West Fork, AR; 16 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great grandchildren.
She enjoyed crafts of all kinds, was an expert seamstress and owned a furniture upholstery business for many years. She loved people and enjoyed discussing current events and keeping up with family and friends. An avid reader, she still read 2-3 books a week and could beat any of us at Wheel of Fortune.
Memorials may be made to Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville, AR and Pea Ridge United Methodist Church.
