Today I'm really missing you.  It keeps hitting me.  Love you so much Diana!

As so often happens with high school classmates, we lose touch but hold onto the memories.  Diana will no doubt be remembered by many people with their own treasured memories to comfort them.  My condolences to her family.

Diana was a good friend to many people with whom she interacted.  She was a good cousin to me as well.  When I learned of her passing it recalled in my mind the 8 mm movies of her and me when we were little.  Our families were very close as we grew up.  Her father (my uncle Wallace), mother ( my aunt Eileen), her brother Robert, and Diana were part of the greater Wilmott-Buckley clan that met almost every weekend and often vacationed together. We always got together for Christmas dinner.  These were truly wonderful days.  Diana had an infectious laugh (as did her brother), which made you want to be around her. It is an extraordinary and rare gift to bring joy to others.  I truly hope that she has found peace.

My wife and I do not know Diana.  I do want everyone to know - especially Diana - that Rosie is with us now.  It's a tragic way to bring such a wonderful friend into our lives.  Please rest assured that Rosie will be well cared for and live out a wonderful life with us.  We can never replace the love you gave Rosie but we'll make sure she is happy and never has a worry.  Rest in peace.

Diana you will be missed. There are so many times I can remember that we ended up laughing so hard....Remember our drives to Banberger's with Maureen and Karen? Then you put Karen's name in for free diapers...she really had to convince her parents that nothing was happening...and piercing your ears with ice cubes and a "sterile" needle...one you sew with. I will miss your laugh, your singing all the Mama's and Papa's songs and of course  your giving nature. God speed Diana xoxo

Diana (or Di Di as she was called by her grandkids) will be dearly missed.  She was so upbeat and positive and truly enjoyed a good time and good people.  I had the honour of growing up with her in my life as a teenager.  Thankfully she was very understanding during that time as I wasn't so much the model juvenile.  At the time she had a West Highland Terrier named Doogie.  He was the cutest, white little pup that adored Di Di.  My father and Diana had a wonderful experience of living in Belgium and I recall that she opened and operated a fast food restaurant called Sunnys.  I tried Googling the restaurant but couldn't find anything but I have sent a photo of the Brown clan donning Sunnys shirts supporting Diana in her new venture (guess the year :-)).  She was so good to my Grandmother, Marion, during the finals years of my grandmother's life.  Marion lived with Diana and my father for a bit while in Fayetteville Arkansas and her and Diana got along like two peas in pod.  Always laughing and cracking jokes.  They were â€˜pieces-of-works' together.  Although years later we were a greater distance apart as my family and I immigrated to New Zealand in 2005 where we still live but we still stayed in contact.  I love you Diana and I will miss you greatly.  You will always be in my heart and memories.
