He enjoyed golfing, fishing, bird watching, working in his yard and drinking coffee with " the neighbor."
"Dave" loved being with his grandkids, never missing a dance recital or a game, he loved his family, but most of all he loved Frankie. The passion he had for her was everlasting.
He worked in farming after high school, later worked in oil fields, then he became a diesel mechanic. He eventually worked for Massey Ferguson and was a very respected salesman and manager. In 1982, he moved to Rogers, and opened Diamond Equipment Rental Company.
He was a great singer and sang in the high school choir. He won a 1st place award for singing. He also loved listening to "Willies Roadhouse".
He was a member of Prairie Creek Country Club and St. Vincent de Paul Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; beloved wife, Frankie Langenegger; and daughter, Karen Langenegger.
David is survived by his children, Don Langenegger (Loveeta) Langenegger of Kansas, John Langenegger (Lori) of Texas, Beverly Patterson (Mark) of Rogers, Pagan Carricaburu of Rogers, and Brian Carricaburu (Stephanie) of California; brother, Fred Langenegger of Kansas; sisters, Orrine Brandt of Arkansas, Evelyn Jean Thiessen of California, Elizabeth Rempel of California; grandchildren, Matthew Golden, Daniel Golden, Jaime Turner, Mackenzy Patterson, Shawn Langenegger, Katy Wissinger, Sam Langenegger, Sadie Langenegger, Seth Langenegger, Scott Langenegger, Ryan Carricaburu and Ryleigh Carricaburu; great-grandchildren, Allison Golden, Ella Turner, Whitney Langenegger and Lydia Wissinger.
A visitation will be on Thursday, January 2, 2020 from 5-7pm in Rollins Funeral Home Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, January 3, 2020 at 10am in St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Rogers, with burial to follow at St. Vincent Cemetery.
