Catherine Elizabeth Johnson, 83, of Garfield, Arkansas passed away on November 8, 2023. She was born on November 13, 1940 in Chester, Arkansas to the late Eugene Clifford Dover and Esther Lee (Seratt).
Catherine was a devoted wife and mom, and she loved spending time with her family. She and her husband, Bob, were happily married for 59 years. Catherine loved spending time in the garden, tending to her beautiful flower beds. She also loved hunting and trout fishing.
She is preceded in death by: her parents, Eugene and Esther Dover; her son, Gerry Reed; and nine siblings.
She is survived by: her husband, Bob Johnson of Garfield; son, Don Reed (Debbie) of Garfield; brother, Virl Dover (Ruth) of California; sisters, Erma Brewer (Rodney Hughes) of Rocky Comfort, Missouri; Mary Boles (Henry) of California; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 14th at Rollins Funeral Home from 5:00-7:00pm. A funeral service will be the following Wednesday at Rollins Funeral Home beginning at 11:00am, with burial to follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery.
