Bruce Curtis Barnes, 64, passed away on July 28, 2020 in Rogers. He was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado on November 3, 1955 to the late Millard and Bonnie (Hampton) Barnes. He was the loving husband of 38 years to Pamela “P.J.” (Mackey) Barnes.
Bruce and his wife, P.J., own and operate Mister B’s Steakhouse in Rogers. He was a renowned chef who could create a perfect steak.
Bruce was a devoted Razorback fan and loved to watch all the games he could.
He was also an avid collector and lover of music. He particularly liked 40’s style music and instrumental rock. He enjoyed listening to albums in his “man cave” and would invite P.J. to come dance with him when a favorite song would play.
He had a passion for animals and helping people, especially children. He was highly respected by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Bennie Cal Barnes.
Bruce is survived by his wife, P.J. of Rogers; son, Chad Schoening and his wife, Lichia; sister, Kris Tina Barnes and her partner, Oscar Gutierrez; nephew, Vance Barnes; and niece, Bonnie Barnes; and 6 great nieces and nephews.
He will be forever treasured in the hearts of his family and friends.
