Billy is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Hazel; son, Reginald; daughter, Robin; and brother, Jack.
Billy was a school teacher prior to joining the Army in 1945. In the Army, he received the Victory medal, two overseas service bars, European Africa Middle Eastern Theater Ribbon with two Bronze Battle stars and a good conduct medal, Army of occupation medal in Germany.
Billy worked at RTW where he retired after 30 years. He was a member of Red Hats Society, Home Extension Club and Retired Teachers Club.
He is survived by one son, Richard Henderson of Rogers; two daughters, Rebecca and her husband, Mike O’Connell, of Fayetteville, and Rhonda Hollis of Rogers; 11 grandchildren, Kimberly, Regina, Kurt, Dennis, Stephanie, Diane, Michael, Shawn, Craig, Christopher and Katelyn Drost; two honorary grandchildren, Matt and Kristin Silvestri; 18 great-grandchildren; and one honorary great-grandson.
He loved baking pies, quilting and playing Bingo.
Memorials may be made to the Miller Place Senior Complex in Rogers.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 15, at 1 p.m. at Rollins Funeral Home Chapel.
A visitation will be held on Friday, Dec. 14, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Rollins Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in Benton County Memorial Park in Rogers.
