How to describe someone who meant the world to so many people? Billie Sue ”Sissy” Goodson, 49, of Rogers left this world for a better place on Saturday, April 20. She was born February 5, 1970 in Memphis, Tennessee, the youngest daughter of Bobby Joe “Dad” Goodson, Sr. and the late Thelma Ruth Rhoads “Mom” Goodson. Sissy had so many things she loved: Music of all genres. Watching old TV classics like Bonanza and Little House on the Prairie. Diet Dr. Pepper with a Snickers bar. Keeping up with her calendars and Easter egg hunts. But, she especially loved her family. Billie’s two older sisters, Sharen Kay ”Pug” Tibbs (Mike) of Rogers, Arkansas and Jo Beth “Jo Jo” Carl (Stephen) of Bartlesville, Oklahoma shared her love for music. She and big brother Bobby Joe “Bubby” Goodson, Jr. (Kelley) of Jonesboro, Arkansas both enjoyed being at Grandpa Rhoads’ farm. Billie had numerous nieces and nephews who kept her laughing: Amy (Bobby), Michael (Alexandra), Lily, Mattie, Lorelai, Gibson, Sunny, AnnaBelle, Brody, Justin (Hayley), Lacey (Aaron), and Major. She also loved all her aunts, uncles, and cousins. When you think of our chocolate brown-eyed girl, celebrate her love for life and the wonderful memories she blessed us with. Billie’s service will be on Wednesday, April 24 at Rollins Funeral Home Chapel in Rogers, Arkansas. Visitation will be from 5-6 and the memorial from 6-7. Online condolences may be expressed at www.RollinsFuneral.com. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Special Olympics or Pathfinders of Cave Springs.
