Anita always worked beside her husband, Clyde, in every business that they entered. When first married, they moved from riding and training Jumper Show horses, to training Thoroughbred Race Horses. They traveled across the country to most of the major racetracks, where they won many races. They remained in the horse business until retiring and relocating to Gentry, Arkansas.
After moving to Gentry, Anita and Clyde became active in the cattle business.
Anita loved animals especially, cats, colts and calves.
She was also an artist, and had some of her works of art published on the covers of two national magazines.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Henson, who passed in 2019.
Anita is survived by her son, Dan Henson and his wife, Kathy; daughters, Linda Hawkins, Annette Orsbun and Hillary Henson; 8 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
