On Thursday evening, December 29, 2011, Ronald Berger of Rockville, MD. Beloved husband of 45 years to Harriet Berger; devoted and loving father of Monique Goslee and Debbie Vandepoll; dear brother of Richard (Luz) Berger and brother in law of Robert (Susan) Fain; adored grandfather of Alexa Vandepoll and Levi Goslee; cherished uncle of Ashley Fain.
Ronald served in the United States Air Force serving two years in Washington, DC, and two years in Taiwan during the Vietnam Conflict. He began his law practice in Bridgeport, CT. Then he and his wife moved to the Washington, DC area so he could practice law for the General Accountability Office. After leaving the GAO, Ronald worked as the Public Hearing Officer for Montgomery County, then at the Department of Health and Human Services. He is the former president of the Greater Olney Civic Association where he remained active for many years in the community.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 2, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Danzansky-Goldberg Memorial Chapels Inc., 1170 Rockville Pike, Rockville, MD 20852. Interment to follow at Judean Memorial Gardens, Olney, MD. The family will receive friends immediately following the interment, Monday, and Tuesday evenings, at the Berger residence.
