My condolences to Cathy, Jack's children and entire Family.  It was my honor and pleasure to serve with Jack while in command from 2008-10. Jack is remembered as a leader who really cared, always did the right thing, plus looked for solutions to ensure our team would be successful; no matter what the challenge. All who knew Jack are fortunate as he added happiness and friendship to one's life.  May God's presence comfort and be with you all.

I worked with Jack for about 20 years when he was in CE and I was the wing
 budget officer and director of plans. Jack was one of those rare people who knew how to really get things done and always work as a team. I enjoyed his wit even when things got stressful. He was the consummate professional, but most of all he was a great friend who really cared about the people. He is a great loss the space community and his friends. May God bless you, Jack. I had the privilege of working with Jack from 06-08 while in command at Patrick AFB.   Jack was one of those rare leaders who brought just the right counsel at just the right time.  His friendly demeanor, big smile and warm handshake always brought encouragement and comfort.  Jack will be missed greatly not only professionally, but by the many people who called him friend.  Our thoughts and prayers are with Cathy and the rest of the family over these days and months ahead.

What a fine man. Such a loss to us. I was on facebook with Jack on the 19th of August talking about coming to the reunion of our class in mid September and was so excited to know I would see him. Jack's last words to me was see you then. Jack was a man of his word...still looking forward to seeing you there Jack. Love and prayers to all the Gibsons and friends.

Prayers for strength for Jack's family. He was a childhood friend and will be missed by many.

My condolences to Cathy, the children and Jack's other family members hearing of his passing. I met and worked with Jack in the early 1980s at Patrick AFB after Floyd Furnell hired him. I enjoyed working with him as he was a great guy just to know. With his expertise in roofing, he helped me resolve a serious issue we were having with our roof dealing with the VA which we were ever grateful.

Jack was one of my very good friends in high school and for many years afterward. I briefly shared a house with him and his brother Jeff. I'll always remember his wonderful laugh and how much fun we had together.My prayers and thoughts are with him and his family.

Jack was consultant on our recent roof project at River Club Condominium, Cocoa Beach. I worked with him closely on this project. He was a knowledgeable engineer and a congenial and engaging gentleman. We are shocked and saddened to hear of his passing. Our condolences to his family.

So enjoyed working with Jack over the years especially the past 3 or 4 years as the AF Space & Missile Museum Foundation Chairman. He will be so missed by all of us

I worked with Jack at Cape Canaveral AFS in the late 90's when I was assigned to the Delta II launch program. Very knowledgeable, personable man who will be missed by many.

To Jack's family you will remember me as Marlene Tyler, lived across the street from the Gibsons while watching the children grow up.  We lost our Bob 1 and 1/2 yrs ago at the same age and I know your pain,  God Bless you all and may he hold you in his grace to comfort each of you in this terrible loss.

I worked with Jack briefly at FEI, a few years ago - he was a kind gentlemen.  My sincerely condolences to his family.
