Thomas Leftridge Clay, 82 of Melbourne, FL passed away on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Brookshire Assisted Living in Melbourne. He was born in Crab Orchard, West Virginia to John Wincer Clay and Ollie Susan McCutcheon Godbey Clay.
He is a retired high school teacher who taught for many years at Eau Gallie High School. He also worked for many years as a staff associate and funeral director’s assistant at Wylie-Baxley Funeral Homes in Rockledge and Merritt Island.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 1, 2019 at 3pm at the Life Event Center at Florida Memorial, 5950 US HWY 1, Rockledge, FL 32955 with interment to follow in Melbourne City Cemetery.
