Shu H. Gowing

remembered by her husband John, her son Wu Cheng, her brother Chao Ching, and sisters Mei Ywe, Mei

Yu and Mei Yin, and her adopted daughter Yarling. She also leaves behind two lovely grandchildren and

two great grandchildren. She was born in a small village south of Hualien Taiwan where she grew up in a

large loving family. Six sisters and two brothers. Her greatest loves were nature, animals and children.

She taught Christian Kindergarten classes to all of the local children. She was trained as a nurse and a

barber/beautician and took great pride that she was the barber for the USAF Thunderbirds Aerial

Demonstration Team at Nellis AFB Nevada. She celebrated her love of nature with hundreds of flowers

in her garden, especially orchids. She was an avid golfer and professional golf fan. She was adamant

about maintaining her native culture and led a Taiwan Indigenous People dance team which performed

at various local cultural events. She spread grace, love, and a little bit of mischief everywhere she went.

Friends and family will hold a Celebration of Life at Wylie Baxley Funeral Home, 1360 North Courtenay

Pkwy, Merritt Island Fl 32953. There will be a visitation meet and greet with a Celebration of Life at

10am.
