On Saturday, September 24, 2022 our beloved Mom went home to the Lord.
She is preceded in death by her husband: Lt. Col. USAF (Retired) Byron M. Matthai, Jr.; her son: Bryon M. , III; and her daughter: Carolyn Frances.
Born and raised in Baltimore, MD she graduated from Eastern High School and married in 1947. The family traveled throughout the United States and Europe. They moved to FL in 1984 to enjoy the warm weather. Nothing gave her greater pleasure than spending time with her family. She was a faithful and devout Catholic and was at ease with going home.
She is survived by her son: Craig; her daughter: Nancy both of Melbourne, FL; her 5 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and 4 great great grandchildren.
