Rosalyn Mae Thompson, age 77, of Palm Bay, Florida passed away on Thursday December 20, 2018. Rosalyn was born October 13, 1941 in Bellaire, Ohio. She worked as a supervisor at Intersil for 30 years.
Rose was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, she truly cherished her family. During her free time Rose loved gardening, looking after the wildlife in her yard and caring for her dogs and cats. She was a excellent baker and loved baking and decorating cakes for all occasions. Rose was very outgoing and enjoyed making friends wherever she might be. She will be remembered as a genuine person known for her zest for life and wit. Rose recently went on a family road trip to Ohio and Michigan to visit family and friends. She truly enjoyed traveling by automobile and getting to see the sites and taking in the beauty along the way.
She is survived by her daughters, Roberta (Tom), Robin and Rhonda; her son, Ronald; sister, Rita Farrier; brother, Ronald Keyser (Merry); grandchildren, Rhonda, Pattrice, Ronald, Jonathan, Phillip, Joshua and Christina and five great-grandchildren.
A Visitation for Rosalyn will be held Tuesday, January 8, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Life Event Center at Florida Memorial, 5950 S US Highway 1, Rockledge, FL. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM. Her interment will be at Florida Memorial Gardens.
