Bob and I shared  a half century of friendship, love and memories.  Losing my dear friend and the magnitude of that loss is something I cannot put into words.  Our friendship survived and thrived despite the distance when he and Nanci moved to Florida.  Through the years I was blessed to see Brian and Brenda grow into the loving, wonderful people they are ... a statement of their Father’s love,  compassion and determination to nurture and instill in them what he treasured most, that Family is everything.  We had so many fun times in Florida and despite our ages found ourselves more often than not acting like teenagers and those antics, crazy as they were, created memories that would last a lifetime.  I miss my friend and even though he will live on in my heart, those memories will no longer bring the belly laughs we shared, but sadly remind me we won't be making any new memories.  I am, and will be, forever grateful that for over 50 years we shared a bond  and friendship few people are blessed to have.  Rest in peace my beloved friend, I hope to see again some day and pick up where we left off.

You were so blessed to have had such a wonderful daddy and Pawpaw,  he was such a loving and caring man that always had a smile on his face.   Bob was a caretaker.  He took care of our country,  he took care of his animals, he took care of his family, he took care of his wife,  and he filled a hole in my heart that was left when I lost my dad almost 25 years ago.  Bob,  Thank you for being the man you were.  You were loved and you willed be missed.

I was neighbor of Judy Vogelmeier for years in Jacksonville. FL and had the pleasure of meeting  her uncle and his sidekick Robin, it was always a fun time when Bob pulled up in his van to visit her for a few days.  He became known as Uncle Bob to us neighbors and we always enjoyed a cold beer and a few laughs over time.  RIP dear Uncle Bob. You were a gem!

Bob was such a sweet man with an infectious smile that would light up a room.  He loved his family dearly and may you cherish all the wonderful memories you shared with him.  He was so proud of all of you and you are in my thoughts and prayers. Love you guys!

This is one of very few photos I have of dear Bob, and I wanted to share it because he looks so young, handsomely tanned and happy here with his beloved wife and Brian. 
For several years Bob was my go-to repairman while I managed my parents condo in Cocoa Beach Florida.  He helped me keep their place up and running while we lived up here in PA. 
I always enjoyed talking to Bob because of his endearing voice and positive attitude in life,  I’ll always remember his unique laugh and can hear him even now,  Brian, you have many of your Dad’s good qualities, and so you will be one to carry on his legacy and presence among his beloved  family and friends.

I had the pleasure of meeting Brenda’s daddy only once. He was visiting from Florida and she and I were getting ready to fly to Arizona to see Donna Clay . All the sisterchicks went. He was so sweet as we chatted like we had known each other forever, even laughing! We hugged bye and Danny drove Brenda and I to the airport. He was so kind and loving toward his baby, Brenda. I know he will be missed by so many people! I know how hard it is to lose your daddy. I relish and find joy in all of our FUN memories with my daddy. I hope you all can do the same. I love each and every one of you all and those precious baby boys.

I had the honor of being Bob’s granddaughter. He was for sure the BEST PawPaw.  He was and still is one of my favorite people. I’m grateful of every little memory I have of him and with him. He will be missed by so many. I love you PawPaw.

You’ll never be forgotten Papaw, because no one can replace you. You and Meems are now together in a better place. I love and miss you so much.

I lost my Uncle Bob on 8/20.  We spent many years together as a family in Florida, which I consider valuable time.  Bob’s final days were spent with his children Brian and Brenda, his grandchildren and great grandchildren which made him very happy.  I’m handling this better knowing he is with God and all of his immediate family and friends.  Rest In Peace Uncle Bob.         

What can I say about my Dad?   Well, he was the best and I wouldn't want any other!  He provided for his family and was there for us during the good times and the bad.
Life will not be the same without you here.
I'll miss you every day.

Robert was my grandpa and man was he the best grandfather you could have. He cared so much about his family and his great grandkids. It melted my heart the bond he had with my 3 year old. If he was having a rough day, Kamden would turn it right around with them just playing together. It was the sweetest bond ever. You will be so missed Pawpaw, we will always love you and think about you. 

Bob I met you for the first time two months ago and you was a very nice man to me.will tell you that you have two beautiful children that love you with everything they have.God Bless you and Rest In Peace 🙏🙏🙏

I did not have the opportunity to know your sweet daddy that long, however I can understand how much he will be missed.    Wherever a beautiful soul has been, there is a trail of beautiful memories.   Take comfort in those around you,  cherish the memories, and make more for the years to come.  Steve and I will keep you all in our thoughts and prayers during this time difficult time.

My deepest condolences to the Brian, Brenda, Greg, Chase, Emily, Abbey and the rest of the family on the passing of Robert Yonker. I knew Bob for over 30 years. Bob was such a great guy....always doing anything he could to help others, doing volunteer work etc. He knew my parents and even helped take care of their cocoa beach condo. Many years ago when I was having a mental health issue, Bob wrote supportive notes to me and even sent me a ceramic vase with an inspiriting message. When Bob found out I couldn't swim, he put me in the pool and though I had a fear of water...he was so patient that I actually was able to float and swim for the first time in my life!  Bob also had a good sense of humor, I'll never forget his unique laugh....which his son Brian carries on :) . With the life Bob led, I know he had a "golden buzzer" straight to heaven .
