Robert Keith Sexton, 86, of Merritt Island, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 24, 2017. Robert was born in Bloomington, Indiana on April 2, 1931 to Joseph and Zella Sexton.
He served his country in the Army during the Korean War. Robert was a retired carpenter and in his free time was active in the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 3550 Cocoa, the VFW, American Legion and the Moose Lodge.
Robert was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend, he will be greatly missed.
Robert is survived by his wife of 66 years Clara; son Greg; grandchildren, Aaron and Caitlin Sexton. He is preceded in death by his son Robert K Sexton, Jr.
There will be a visitation held from 10-11am on Saturday, October 7 at the Life Event Center at Florida Memorial with a celebration of his life beginning at 11am. Entombment will follow at Florida Memorial Gardens.
