Robert A Louis

He was born in Philadelphia, PA, and graduated from Penn State University in 1950 with a business degree. He spent his summers at Ocean City, NJ with his grandparents, and served as a lifeguard in 1946. He was captain of the Penn State lacrosse team, and an all-American. Upon graduation, he joined Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company in Philadelphia, PA. In 1953 he was transferred to Sunbury, PA. where he met the love of his life, Nancy Jane Carter. They married in 1955. The company moved him in sales and marketing positions 10 times over 38 years. He retired to FL in 1988.

He was a consummate family man, and a loving husband, Dad, and PopPop.

Robert is survived by his wife Nancy; his son, Don and DeAnn in SC, his daughter Barb Dames and Pete in KY, and his son Dick and Debbie in CT. He was PopPop to eight grandchildren, Carey Sestito, Annie Straka, Kaitlin Dames, Erin Riley, Matt Louis, Emily Alberto, Sarah Dames, and Molly Louis; and three great grandchildren, Emma Sestito, Eleanor Straka, and Harper Sestito.

He was a member of Suntree United Methodist Church.

A Celebration of Life will be held at his church at 11AM on October 6, 2017.
