Robert was born in Winter Haven, Florida. He was a veteran of both the Army and the Marine Corps and a proud member of Mims First Baptist Church.
Robert is preceded in death by his grandson, Emilio Dominguez. He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Shirley Barker; daughters, Kathy Barker and Libby Dominguez; step-sons, Frank (Jodi) Ginn and Trampas Ginn; left to cherish his memory are 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
A Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at Mims First Baptist Church, 2395 Kentucky Ave, Mims, FL 32754 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. with a Funeral Service beginning at 12:30 pm. A Committal Service will follow at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. A reception will be held at the Sand Point Park Pavilion, 101 N Washington Ave, Titusville, FL 32796.
In lieu of flowers the family request that donations in R.E.’s name be made to either the Wounded Warrior Project, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or CUFI (Christians United for Israel).
