today is October 6th 2011, its been 7 months since you passed away, I miss you terribly and am heart broken that you are gone,I can'thear your stories anymore or your laugh or have a beer with you , but in my memories I can. your great grandaughter asks about you all the time, where did Grampa go, I tell her to Heaven. she points at the sky and says up there. I tell her yes. I know I will see you again some day Daddy until then I will always have you in my heart. I love you

To my family,
I sadly was unable to be there Friday, but I was there in spirit w/ you all.  I look back on my memories of Pops and see so many fun times.  Two stories come to mind first as I reflect on those memories.  The first was when I was 3 years old and we were spending time at the cabin in Canada.  I got into trouble for something that I don't remember for what now, but par for the course w/ Pops...he told me to go outside and find a switch for my punishment.  I went outside and upon my return was dragging behind me an entire branch.  He looked at me and asked..."Do you really want me to spank you w/ that?"  I looked up and w/ a stuck out lip and sniffles shook my head yes.  Needless to say...everyone laughed so hard that I got out of that spanking that day.  The second story was from when I was about 7 years old.  Pops was going to let me drive the snowmobile for the first time.  He was on the back to help me and as I took off I guess it was kind of fast and sudden, because the next thing I know I hear Pops yelling...Stop!!  I looked back and Pops was flat on his butt from falling off when I took off.  We had so many good times w/ him!  More then I could possibly share here, but these memories will be w/ me forever.  Just as I know he will be too.  I love you Pops and miss you so much!! I love you guys!! XOXOXO

Dear Mrs. Saxton and Family,

I am deeply sorry for your loss of Mr. Saxton!! I'm glad he is finally at peace and no longer suffering, and that he is getting to play archery with all the angels!! If you guys need anything you know where to find me. ;-)

Dear Esther and family. I would like to offer my deepest sympathies and a heartfelt wish for your comfort in this time of loss. I remember Dick from the days back in the 70's and 80's shooting archery on the weekends in the Seneca League. While I was only a pain in the butt kid, Dick leaves strong and clear memories in my mind of those days when I was growing up. The funny thing is that I was telling my Mom and Dad Just a few minutes ago when they gave me the sad news that I was thinking of a camping weekend at the Flying Arrow archery club in Penn Yan just last night and the one thing that I was remembering the most was Dick and my father sitting in the clubhouse, discussing a poker game that they were involved in the night before. Freaky! He was a good man and I will always reflect on him and everyone from those "Good Ole' Days" with fondness and a smile on my face. Much Love, Rick (Ricky needs a pill) Harris.
