Richard C. Rogers

Richard Clinton Rogers of Satellite Beach, FL passed away on Thursday 1/13/22. He was 93 years old. Richard was born in Del Rio, TX in 1928 to Otis and Blanche Rogers. He grew up in Lubbock, TX where he received a BS degree in Geology Engineering from Texas Tech. He was a Professional Engineer and a Safety Engineer. He moved to Satellite Beach in 1962 with the space program. He was married to Mary Rogers. Together, they were prominent in the growth of Satellite Beach sports and the United Methodist Church of Satellite Beach. Richard was a Mason and a Shriner.

Surviving family members are Jo Featherhoff, Ray Featherhoff (Cherri Featherhoff, spouse), Steve Rogers (Kathi Rogers, spouse), Brandi Buckley, Blake Rogers (Kelli Rogers, spouse), and Jill Carney (Travis Carney, spouse). He had numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the United Methodist Church of Satellite Beach and St. Francis Hospice. Due to COVID, a private burial will occur at Florida Memorial Gardens in the New Masonic section.
