Myron "Mike" Mirowsky, 81, passed away on Thursday, October 28, 2010 at Holmes Regional Medical Center. Mike was born on May 6, 1929 in Wilkes Barre, PA. He was an Air Force Veteran and was employed by STL then worked for McDonnell-Douglas Aerospace and retired from Piper Aircraft, Inc. in Vero Beach. Mike was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, he loved the game of baseball and played on several leagues and coached Eau Gallie Little League.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Shirley; son, Mark and his wife, Sandy; daughter, Karen Lancaster and her husband, Dean; brother, Larry Mirowsky; sisters, Helen Sanagorsky and Ann Shark; grandchildren, Jason and Jessica Lancaster; and great-granddaughter, Jenny Fields. There will be a memorial service held at 1 pm on Monday, November 1, 2010 at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, 1591 Highland Ave. in Melbourne followed by a reception. A private interment will take place at Florida Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or St. Paul's United Methodist Church.
