Melinda Fraley Marconi was born in Abingdon, Virginia on February 24, 1957 to Ed and Mildred Fraley. She and her family moved to Jacksonville for a brief period and then to Rockledge, she graduated from Rockledge High School in 1975. She was a fun-loving spirit, she never shied away from a challenge, like diving off the Banana River bridge.
In her youth, she excelled at swimming, diving, golf, horseback riding and even riding a unicycle. She loved football, especially the Green Bay Packers, she would wear her cheese hat, golf, and bathing in the sun. She doted on her granddaughter Chelsea and grandson Michael who were the light of her life. She loved her brothers and sister, Mike, Tom, and sister Sandra, family was everything to her.
She was loved by many in the community for her warm smile and sweet spirit. The last several years were spent with the love of her life, Bert. Living the ranch life suited her perfectly, it brought her back to her roots and her relationship with him brought her much peace and stability that everyone could see. Her loved ones will be forever grateful for all the love and care he provided to her.
Melinda is survived by her daughter, Mary Marconi; brother, Mike Campbell; sister, Sandra Campbell Klank, granddaughter, Chelsea Marconi and great-grandson, Michael and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her twin brother, Thomas E. Fraley, III and her parents Ed and Mildred Fraley.
There will be a Celebration of Life held at the Rockledge Country Club on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
Then a second Celebration of Life held at the Life Event Center, 5950 South US Highway 1, Rockledge, FL on Thursday, December 14, visitation to start at 10:00 AM and funeral service to start at 11:00 AM.
