Mary "Dianne" Wilkes

She was proceeded in death by her parents Don & Mary Tomlinson, her brothers Don & David, and her husband of 57 years Jerry Wilkes. She is survived by her Children Sarah Avery (Jim), Karen Herfurth (John), Todd Wilkes (Dawn) & Chad Wilkes (Jessie). 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Dianne was a Brevard County Resident since 1955, and a member of First Baptist Merritt Island. Graduated from Cocoa High School in 1963. Over the years she was a talented seamstress, loved ceramics, and made beautiful dolls and doll clothes for many family and friends. Her granddaughters were always adorned in something fancy grandma had made for the holidays.

Her work and passion for church and her deep love for Israel could be seen throughout her life. But even in these past years when she couldn't attend church her faith and love for Christ did not wane!

We rest in the peace knowing she dances in the street of heaven made perfectly whole and resting in the arms of her Heavenly Father.

The family will be honoring her this Sunday August 27, 2023 with a viewing from 3 to 4pm followed by a Celebration of Life service starting at 4:30 pm at the Life Event Center at Florida Memorial.
