Mary Ann Hastings

She was born to the late Howard and Amie Ludlow on Oct. 1st 1939, in Norwich Ct. Mary-Ann graduated from N.F.A. high school and received a Registered Nursing degree from the William W. Backus Hospital School of Nursing in 1960. She married the late Richard Hastings II in 1963. They lived in Norwich, Ct and Lewes, De, before finally relocating to Americana Resorts in Rockledge, Fl in 1994.

Mary-Ann was a Registered Nurse and taught Nursing Assistants until she retired in 1991. She received many certificates and awards during her career. She was passionate about making a difference in the lives of her patients, students, and anyone who happened to know her.

Mary-Ann is survived by her son David and his wife Nancy, her sister Millie Maine, and her brother Phillip Ludlow.

Flowers can be sent to Suntree United Methodist Church in Suntree, Fl. Or a donation in her name can be made to one of her favorite charities, Harmony Farms, a horse ranch for handicapped children, located at 5300 Stadium Parkway Rockledge, Fl 32955.

A memorial service will be held at 1 pm Friday Sept 7th at Suntree United Methodist Church in Melbourne Fl. A reception will follow at 2 pm.
