Mary B. Goodman

Mary Therese Brophy Goodman, 89, of Melbourne, FL, formerly of Garnerville, NY, was called home to be with the Lord on September 1, 2019. Mary was born on December 23, 1928, in Grassy Point, NY to Julia (Plunkett) and Michael Francis Brophy.

She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert James Goodman; her parents, and nine of her eleven siblings: Mary F., Patrick, Ann, Richard, James, Francis, Vincent, Julia and Joseph. Mary is survived by her dearly loved children, Robert of Palm Bay, FL; Mary Nowicki and husband Paul of Fletcher, NC; Mark of Mahwah, NJ; James and wife Kate of Eau Gallie, FL; eleven grandchildren: Jimi, Robbie and wife Sam, Emily, Sarah, Chad, Zachary, Juliet, Katherine, Abigail, Lily and Jack; and one great-grandchild, Tanner. Mary also is survived by her cherished sister, Catherine Zarriello of West Haverstraw, NY, and her many loved nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Ascension Catholic Church in Melbourne, FL on Saturday September 22, 2018 at 11am.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made in Mary's memory to Ascension Catholic Church, 2950 North Harbor City Boulevard, Melbourne, FL 32935 or Brevard Pals for Autism Awareness, 1800 Penn Street, Suite 12, Melbourne, FL 32901.
