Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, Vincent James Heaney and Lorraine Lilian (Thieme) Heaney as well as by her siblings, Pat, Paul, Mary, Tom, Rose and Tim. She is survived by her spouse, James William Craft; her children – Andrea Goldsmith (Eric), Leslie Metoxen (Bill) and Jerry Craft (Sherry); 4 siblings – Joanne Poer, Kathy Pitts, Greg Heaney and Jim Heaney; 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Marilyn graduated from Boone High School in Orlando, Florida in 1965. She married James William (Bill) Craft on April 7, 1966, and celebrated almost 59 years together. Marilyn devoted the early years of her married life to her family and raising her 3 children. She later entered the workforce with various jobs at Merritt Island Air, The Florida Today, Merritt Island Christian School and H&R Block. Marilyn completed her AA degree at Brevard Community College and later enrolled at the University of Central Florida to pursue her BA degree. She was an avid collector of everything from M&Ms, plates, coins, rocks, seashells, China, crystal ornaments, and so much more! Marilyn was a strong, fireball of a woman who was always the life of the party. More importantly, she was selfless, loving and giving…always putting family and friends first, and she will always be remembered for her compassion and generosity.

Marilyn will be laid to rest at a later date in Florida Memorial Gardens, 5950 South US Highway 1, Rockledge, Florida 32955 in the Pieta Garden.
