Born on January 13th 1970 to Carole and Stephen Jacobson in Redmond Washington, she was oldest of 2 children.
After high school Lisa in the early 90s relocated to Brevard County Florida where she worked as a waitress until settling on her vocation as a bookkeeper/administrative assistant. She worked for various companies throughout Brevard County, her most notable and favorite being the work she did for Belfour after all the hurricanes of 2004.
In early 2003 she met her future husband, Ben, and eloped in St. Augustine Florida in front of the fountain of youth. She often said those 3 days in the old city were among some of her fondest memories. Lisa and Ben settled in Palm Bay where they lived happily until 2010 when they relocated to Bens grandfathers’ property. They stayed there until 2014 when they returned to Brevard County to be closer to their grandson, Benjamin.
Lisa had a beautiful smile a vivacious personality and a heart as big as they make them. Benjamin was the light of her life, and she adored her stepdaughter who she affectionately called Britter. She loved talking to her Aunt Marilyn, who she adored and missed so much. Lisa loved her dogs and loved teaching them new tricks and cuddling with them on the couch.
She is survived by her husband Ben, stepdaughter Britney Starke and grandson Benjamin Grey of Palm Bay, her aunt, Marilyn Sundquist and uncle, Lee Sundquist of Napa, Idaho, numerous nieces and nephews, in-laws, cousins and her 2 dogs Angel and Cassie.
A visitation gathering will be held on Tuesday, September 14 at the Life Event Center at Florida Memorial, Rockledge, FL. 32955 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, with a memorial service beginning at 11:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lisa's name to the Old Friends Senior Dog Sanctuary.
