Keith D. Heuer Jr., age 53, a native of Buffalo, New York, and a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, passed away on April 8, 2024. Born in Buffalo, Keith moved to Brevard County in 1971 from Amherst, New York.
Keith is survived by his beloved mother, Doris Heuer, of Indialantic, Florida, and his cherished daughters, Epiphany F. Campbell of Palm Bay, Florida, and Ashley M. Brett of Texas. He was predeceased by his father, Keith D. Heuer Sr.
He also leaves behind his uncle, Dennison(Cheryl) Heuer, along with their family of Hamburg, New York , and his uncle, Kevin(Ann) Yaromich of Ontario, Canada, Aunt Cindy (Gary) Benik of Ontario, Canada. His cousins, Melissa, Roland Fournier and son Jordan of Ontario, Canada; cousins Zachary, Christine, Abriella and Axle, Brittany, Brian, Cali of Ontario, Canada, who mourn his loss deeply.
Keith graduated from Melbourne High School in 1989 and subsequently enlisted in the US Marine Corps in 1992. He was stationed at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, where he served with honor and dedication, achieving the rank of sergeant before being honorably discharged in 2000. Returning to Florida, Keith started a career with the City of Melbourne.
About five years ago, Keith relocated to the Buffalo, New York area, where he continued to pursue his passions. He had a special fondness for playing the guitar and shared a love for vintage automobiles and motorcycles with his parents.
Keith's presence will be sorely missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. His legacy of service, kindness, and passion will forever be remembered.
A memorial service to celebrate Keith's life will be held on Friday May 3, 2024 at 2pm at the Life Event Center, 5950 S. US Highway 1 Rockledge, FL 32955
May Keith rest in peace, knowing he touched the lives of many with his warmth and generosity.
