Justice James Myers, Sr., age 79, passed away surrounded by family on Friday, October 4, 2024 in Melbourne, Florida. Born on February 2, 1945 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Jesse served his country with distinction in the United States Navy Seabees from 1962 to 1966 and later joined the Air National Guard, serving from 1970 to 1978.
A stranger to none and a friend to many, Jesse was the ultimate "Mr. Fix-It" throughout his personal professional life, always willing to lend a hand to those in need. Jesse was a loving husband to his wife, Norma for 58 years, a wonderful father, grandfather, brother and friend.
Jesse cherished his time camping, cruising, diving,snorkeling and especially being with his three children; Sherry, Justice, Jr. and Denise, as well as his six grandchildren and two great grandchildren, which were cornerstones of his happiness.
His life was marked by his service, both in the military and his professional life, as well as his dedication to his family and his passions. His legacy of love, service and adventure will live on in the hearts of those whe knew him both for his laughter and wit.
A Celebration of Life for Justice will be held Sunday, October 27, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Bridgewater Community Center, 8622 Breakers Row Avenue, Melbourne, Florida 32940.
A Committal Service with military honors will be held on Monday, November 4, 2024 at 11:00 am at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery, Mims, Florida.
