Judy Riggins

Judy is survived by her daughter Shawn Amick (Dan), of Summerville, SC, son Mike Riggins (Melissa), of Franklin, IN, and grandchildren, Megan Riggins and Cole Amick. Judy is preceded in death by her parents, Marion Cox and Luella Easter, as well as her cat from hell, Sadie.

Judy was born in Toledo, OH on January 27, 1942. She moved to FL in 1966. She graduated from Brevard Community College in 1997 with an Associate in Arts and from Warner Southern College in 1999 with a Bachelor's degree in Organizational Management. She worked at the Kennedy Space Center for the Bendix Launch Support Division, McGregor Warner, McDonnell Douglas, and Boeing until her retirement in 2005, where her motto was, “I can now stay up as late as I want and sleep as late as I want!” Judy was an animal lover who enjoyed retirement through luncheons, outings with friends, traveling, and doting on that damn cat.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, February 19 at 2:00PM at the Life Event Center at Florida Memorial, 5950 South US Highway 1, Rockledge, FL 32955.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to your local animal shelter.
