John Talmadge Webb, an engineer who worked on all of the United States manned space programs, died on Wednesday, February 29, 2012, following a long illness, at his home, in Merritt Island, Florida. He was 77 years old.
Tal was a Life fellow of ASME. He was a member of the Professional Practice and Ethics Committee of ASME and the Old Guard Committee.
Tal is survived by his wife, Nina, his 3 children, 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
The funeral will be held at 2 pm at Florida Memorial Funeral Home, in Rockledge.
