I worked in opf when jack was in ops. we both worked washing golf carts at turtle creek and played lot of golf with him. Iwill miss my best freind.

Grandpa McCabe - I just want to tell you how much I love and am grateful for you and Grandma. Throughout my life a lot of people had said that “step”, “half”, etc. does not matter and they loved me as granddaughter of regardless of how that happened. However, only a handful of people have ever said it and proven it over time. Especially despite the fact that I will always be a Seminole and Cubs fan. Although you won’t physically be with me in London this summer,  I know that where ever you are watching form you’ll be cheering for the Cardinals. I hope you know that I love you and how thankful I am to have had you as my grandfather. 

Our deepest sympathies to the McCabe Family. We were so blessed to have met Jack and enjoyed his company . What a wonderful man of God. A great light has indeed left our presence. Well done good and faithful servant, enter now into your rest! Precious in the sight of the Lord is the homecoming of his sons and daughters. Heaven truly welcomed him home with excitement.  We pray the Holy Spirit give you all comfort during this difficult grieving season.

Grandpa, 

It’s times like these that make me grateful for memories. Although my memory isn’t the greatest, your impact on me and the times we shared sure do shine through and through those memories, you will live on forever. Your laugh was contagious, your sense of humor and knack for playful sarcasm has no doubt shaped my personality from the earliest of my years. You thought me how to shoot pool, made Christmas enjoyable in every way possible, hid the most valuable golden egg, always wanted to talk sports or go toss the ball and ALWAYS made sure I knew the importance of restocking the fridge with any soda of my choosing. Some of my favorite memories were day trips, when you took me on a behind the scenes tour of the launch pad 
with an astronaut out at the cape, or when I lived in Missouri and met you for the day in St. Louis for a trip of your former stomping grounds. Great times with a great dude. Love you and miss you forever.

Grandpa, not enough words can be said to describe how you will be missed by everyone whose life you had a great impact on. My memory of you will be forever cherished. The solitaire extraordinaire, the domino pro, the man you could ask to always throw the ball or shoot hoops with, and MOST DEFINITELY the man to get breakfast with at Jimmies. You were witty and sharp as a fang, but most of all, you were a caring, loving, kind man, and great father and grandfather. I will miss you very much.

Daddy, it’s so hard to wake up every morning and not see you in your chair to tell you good morning. I loved seeing the smile on your face when I would bring you your fresh oj and make your coffee just the way you liked it and hear you say, “thank you sugar.”   I will always cherish the years when you were my softball coach. I learned so much from you.  No matter what sport I participated in, you were always there for me.  You were so patient with me when you were teaching me how to drive your vw bug, I’m surprised we didn’t get whiplash!  We would laugh so hard.  I always 
looked forward to putting up the train display with you at Christmas. It was so much fun!  I just hope I can keep our tradition alive.  It’s just not going to be the same without you.  On a daily basis you always asked me if I had heard from or received any new videos or pictures from your great-granddaughters. You loved hearing and watching the silly things they were doing.  I’m just so sorry they won’t get to grow-up with their great-grandpa.   Daddy, every day is a struggle.  I miss your smile, your laugh, your stories.  I MISS YOU.   I’ll love you forever 💗  Sissy

I still can't wrap my head around the fact, I won't be getting your phone calls anymore.  So thankful for the many memories of our young years on Spencer.  We went blackberry picking early mornings on a hot summer day.  Playing softball in the street in front of our house.  In the neighborhood streets back then in the 1940's there weren't  so many cars.  I will remember our sleigh rides and bon-fires. Might add,  riding our sleds down a hill which we thought back then was huge, but seeing it now we have laughed about it, not such a big hill. lol.         Reminiscing;  I will always remember this foremost, your great sense of humor teasing me.  You would tell me, Mom loved you best, you were the best looking, and the one that ruffled my feathers the most was you telling me I was adopted.  Ha, Ha!  Many fun

Grandpa, we had so many wonderful memories together like teaching me how to throw a baseball, making orange cream floats at your bar, and going to Jimmie’s breakfast every Sunday I was with you guys. I always enjoyed and looked forward to spending the night with you and grandma. You both always made me feel so loved. I am truly going to miss you, but I know one day I will see you again.  I love you grandpa.
