Dan, John, & Doreen… 
Auntie Jean & Uncle Elie were such huge parts of my childhood. You all were… from scaring us on Christmas Eve by ringing the bells outside my window, to the best cook-outs, to the best stuffing, to Chocolate Steam Pudding, to driving us to dance or gymnastics, to Labor Day cookout and Auntie & I both tearing up at the MDA Telethon (ironic, right), to barging into your house like it was my own, to her seeing me for the first time in a wheelchair and her breaking down.  I’m heartbroken that I can’t be there to give you all a hug, and say farewell… but please know 
my heart is with you guys.

I’m very sorry concerning Mrs. Conway’s passing.  I’m sure she was a special lady and will be missed.

Sincere condolences.

We are very saddened to hear of the passing of our good friend and next door neighbor of 20 years, Jean Comeau. I’m am sure her husband Joe is waiting in heaven with open arms and a joke ready to tell her. As a couple, Jean and Joe brightened up the neighborhood   
with their jokes and smiles. Always ready to offer a helping hand and loved every little kid on our street. They truly were a very special couple. Our deepest condolences to Danny, John, Doreen and the family.  Tomorrow would have been Jean’s birthday. Happy birthday in heaven, Jean. Smile with Joe and the angels.

My deepest sympathy to the family. Jean will definitely be missed by all who knew her. When I walked into the bowling alley and she always smiled and said hello and I saved your favorite candy bar. She was always right there when they needed volunteers for working the tournaments and helping anyway she could on league night. Doreen, you had a special mom and we will all miss her.

Jean will be greatly missed by the Rhodes family.  She was a major player in our Christmas season and provided a hiding place for dogs, birds and many bikes throughout the years. There could never be a better neighbor or friend. We can not thank you enough for all of the kind deeds. You will be greatly missed. Rest in peace. Forever in our thoughts. 

Danny, John and Doreen, your Mom was also my "Mom", she Bumpy and Ma, first took me in when I was 9 months old, and helped raise me until I was 18.  Everyone thought Paul and I were twins (3 weeks apart in age).  I was her Flower Girl, Paul the Ring Bearer..  .  She will be missed ,I miss all of them so much

Our subdivision is on WhatsApp so I shared the notification of Jeans' passing. 12 of the 15 original families remembered Jean & Joe and sent their condolences. Roland sent a condolence that Don really appreciated, so I pass this on to other family members. 
"Saddens me to hear of her passing.i remember their gracious hospitality...we attended the Christmas parties & marveled at the decorations that adorned their home . Our kids thoroughly enjoyed the Christmas atmosphere there and would leave the parties grudgingly.... Their kindness and graciousness is not forgotten. .. their moving to Florida was a loss to the neighborhood...such wonderful people! May she Rest In Peace."
