He was born in Plant City, Florida on March 6, 1927.
James honorably severed his country in both the U.S. Navy and the United States Air Force. He retired after 20 years of service from the Air Force and went on to work for Pan American on various projects at Kennedy Space Center.
A loving husband, father, grandfather and friend, he will be greatly missed by his family and friends. James is survived by his sons, Peter and Robert Morris and his daughter, Myra Neese; many grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Anna Morris.
There will be a visitation held from 2pm to 3 pm on Monday, August 22, 2016 at the Life Event Center at Florida Memorial, 5950 South US Highway 1, Rockledge, FL, with a Celebration of his Life following at 3pm. Interment will follow in Florida Memorial Gardens.
