James "Jim" Meade passed away at age 76 on 5 April 2025 in Melbourne, FL. Jim was a distinguished Air Force veteran serving his country for over 20 years. After retirement, he worked tirelessly and became a successful entrepreneur, most notably Mr. Donut in Indian Harbour Beach and McCleearys Sandwich Station in the Melbourne Square Mall. He was an accomplished technical expert that enjoyed supporting the space programs at Kennedy Space Center.
Jim was a multi-talented musician, an animal lover and a bonafide world traveller. He worked very hard to build his American Dream with his wife at their home he often called "Paradise." He had a great sense of humor and was always ready with a joke or story. He had a strong sense of duty and responsibility to God, family, and country. Jim was the classic good guy, who valued honesty, generosity, and respect for others. More importantly, Jim Meade was a dedicated husband, a loving father, and proud grandfather.
Jim is survived by his spouse, three kids, four grandkids, two siblings, and numerous friends and associates. His legacy continues to inspire through our most cherished memories and he is sincerely missed.
