Hazel Wilda Lockard

A true Florida native, married Robert Bruce Lockard Feb 13, 1953, in Bernalillo, New Mexico. They began their life together as an Air Force couple, and started a family, with three sons, Robert, Stanley and Kenneth. They lived in many places, Texas, England, Philippines, Massachusetts and returned to settle in Brevard County Florida. Wilda was a homemaker and remarkable cook and loved preparing meals for her family and friends, especially over the holidays. She enjoyed playing cards, dominos, reading, fishing, bowling, and going on cruises. She loved all her family and grandkids.

Wilda was predeceased by her husband of 52 years Robert B. Lockard (2005) and her youngest son Kenneth C. Lockard (2003) and her beloved dog Tebow. She is also predeceased by her parents Dallas W. Quates and Bronnie B. (Rolin) and her siblings Pauline Hughey, Mildred Jakubcin, and Chester Quates.

She is survived by her children: Son Robert B. Lockard, Jr. and wife Victoria (Baldassare) of Cape Canaveral, and granddaughter Hazel and husband Jake Hahn of Tennessee, Kendel Cooper, Madison Cooper, and Andrew and wife Kaley Cooper of Florida. Son Stanley G. Lockard and wife Victoria (Garrett) of Cocoa Beach, and grandsons Cody and wife Ariel Lockard and Dylan Lockard, of Colorado. Daughter in Law Lizabeth Havell Lockard and grandchildren Thomas and Olivia Lockard, of Georgia and Grandson Casey Segan of Florida.

Memorial Service and Reception to be held on December 17, 2022, at 5:00 p.m. at the Costa del Sol Clubhouse, 5801 N. Banana River Blvd., Cape Canaveral, Florida. Directions – take the second left at the Office sign after Jack Drive on N. Banana River Blvd.
