Gloria will be remembered by all who knew her.
She is survived by seven of her eight children, Son Gene Murphy (Janice), Son Mike Murphy (Debbie), Son Mark Murphy, Daughter Frances Murphy, Daughter Andree Young, Son Tim Murphy, and Son James Murphy. Grandchildren Robert Young (Rachelie), Janice Young, Adam Murphy (Stephanie), Matthew Murphy, Summer Nichols (Wade), Johnni Murphy, Mikey Murphy, Vincent Crenshaw , Samantha Harley Sandvik, Amber Murphy, Jeremy Murphy, Angel Murphy, and Samantha. And many great grandchildren, step grandchildren and several others who thought of her as Mom or Grandma. She was pre-deceased by her loving husband Andre (Mick) Murphy, and son Cliff Murphy (Karen), Her sister Rhoba Valero, and Mother Ethel Pritchett, Nephew Wayne Valero. Gloria was born in Hialeah Florida and lived in several towns across America but spent most of her life in South Florida moving to Orlando and finally to Melbourne in approx. 1996. Her children and grandchildren were her life. Prior to her death she was well cared for by her sons James and Mark, allowing her to pass where and how she wanted to, at home, peacefully, comfortably, and surrounded by three of her eight children.
Family and friends will be received at the Life Event Center at Florida Memorial at 5950 South Hwy 1 Rockledge FL 32955 on Monday August 21, 2023 at 1PM with services at 2PM followed by gravesite internment (on the same premises) and a Gathering immediately following, also at the Life Event Center.
Donations to St Judes Childrens Hospital or Faith Baptist Church in Titusville Florida would be appreciated.
