

Elizabeth, also known as Aunt Boo Boo to her nieces and nephews, grew up in Pontiac, Michigan with 5 siblings. While in high school she worked at the Five and Dime store in downtown Pontiac and graduated from Pontiac High School in 1951 where she met the love of her life, Billy Morris. They were married on May 19, 1951.
Elizabeth was a very eloquent and proud woman. Everyone always commented on what a lovely lady she was. She loved life. She especially loved her family. She had 3 children, Dan, Debbie, and Susan, that she was very proud of. She was a stay-at-home mom while her children were young, then went to work for the Waterford School district as a secretary once the children were in school. Later, she worked as the secretary for the personnel director at Pontiac Motors until she retired.
Elizabeth and her husband were members of the Pontiac Boat Club and enjoyed boating trips with their friends. She especially enjoyed socializing with other members of the boat club. To be near their children, Elizabeth and her husband moved to Port St. Lucie, Florida in 1996 and in 2005 to Melbourne, Florida.
Elizabeth was full of life and would always greet you with a smile. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was always a good sport with whatever adventure life brought her way. She was a kind, loving person and will be missed.
Elizabeth is survived by her daughters, Deborah (Morris) Johnston and Susan(Morris) Hall (Hank); Daughter-in-law, Susan (Morris) Wickersham; Sister-in-Law, Betty Jane (Morris) Dowd; five grandchildren; Heather (Morris) Eads, Vanessa (Morris) Costello, Eric Hall, Laura Hall, Christine Lariscey, and eight great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Billy Morris; son, Dan Morris; Son-in-Law, John Johnston; parents, Samual James and Minnie (James) Robinson, Sisters; Josephine Heffner, Betty Anderson, Virginia Buttery, Adrian (Donna) Hewitt; brother Samual Max James.
Please join the family for Elizabeth's Celebration of Life. The visitation will be held at the Life Event Center: 5950 US HWY 1, Rockledge FL, on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at 2:30 PM. The service will begin at 3:00 PM, with an internment to follow.
