He was born in Kingsport, TN on January 26, 1943. Earnest retired after 30 years of service, as an automotive mechanic with the City of Cocoa, FL.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Earnest is survived by his wife of 46 years, Lois; his sons, Earnest Smith, III and Brian Smith; his grandchildren, EJ, Brian, II, Brandon, Nicole, Brice, Courtney, Debra Jean and Hailee; his sisters, Wanda Smith and Charlotte Sampson.
There will be a Graveside Service held at 2pm on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at Florida Memorial Gardens, 5950 South US Highway 1, Rockledge, FL.
