Dorothy Ina Inks Wolf age 96, passed away peacefully in her Indialantic home Tuesday morning, January 15th. Born and raised, in Princeton, IL, daughter of Dr. F. Emerson and Belle Anderson Inks. Dorothy graduated from Lawrence University, Appleton, WI, in 1944 and married her Princeton High School Sweetheart, Earl J. Wolf, Jr. Together they traveled the world during his 32 year Air Force career, raising three daughters; Roberta Domeck (Rob), Cynthia Walker and Deborah Simon. She is survived by daughters Roberta and Deborah, grandchildren Lauren Wilkes (Dennis) of AL, Heather Small, of CA and Branson Simon (Lizzy) of TX and 8 great grandchildren.
Dorothy thrived in Florida, though not her choice of location for retirement first settling in Satellite Beach in 1971 & finally Indialantic for 44 years. She was a member of Melbourne Alumnae Panhellenic, holding several offices throughout the years, as a member of Delta Gamma Fraternity. This Sisterhood of Greek Fellowship was always the foundation of her social life and personal relationships, wherever she made their home. She volunteered her time over the years to Vitas, the Red Cross, the CHAP program on various air force bases and activities sponsored by Melbourne Alumnae Panhellenic. Dorothy loved traveling the world, enjoying the people, food and sights of other cultures. She was an avid reader, Boccee Ball player and so enjoyed the company of the dear friends she made in Florida (Dining Divas and The Beach Girls).
In lieu of flowers, donations would be welcomed in her name to Melbourne Alumnae Panhellenic Scholarship Fund, Vitas, and The Haven for Children.
