Donald D. Davison left this earth on March 14, 2020 to be with the Lord. A few days before his passing Don felt moved to share his testimony with family and friends of how he found Christ by opening his heart to Him.
Donald was born in Flushing, New York on May 22, 1954. He truly enjoyed living in the Big Apple for most of his young life. After brief military family relocations to Mobile, Alabama; New Orleans, Louisiana; and Governors Island, NY; the Davison family moved to Merritt Island, Florida in 1973 where Donald attended Brevard Community College and received his Associates Degree. While at BCC he joined the theater group and enjoyed acting in several productions as well as helping with set design.
He worked at Martin Marietta/Lockheed Martin in Orlando, Florida for over 30 years as a Graphic Designer. As a talented Artist Don had the chance to work on the designs of many interesting projects including defense work and even some for NASA.
Anyone who ever met Don knows of his love for music especially The Beatles. He knew just about everything there is to know about them and posted photos and music for other Beatles Fans to enjoy. He also enjoyed many other genres of music or as he put it, he liked “The kind of music that gets your feet a tapping and makes you want to sing along.”
Don also was an aficionado of movies. James Bond films were some of his favorites. His comedy favorite was Monty Python and he could quote most of it from memory. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and was blessed to have many cousins that meant a lot to him. Donald’s quick wit and sensitive heart will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
