Betty J. Engle

She is survived by her two sons, Douglas (Doug) Engle of Indialantic, FL, and Harry J. Engle of West Melbourne, FL; five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Betty also has eight surviving sisters and brothers, and many nieces and nephews.

Betty loved her long and successful career as surgical nurse and nurse manager in both Florida and Ohio. She worked at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, OH for 14 years, at St Joseph's Hospital and Trumbull Memorial Hospital, both in Warren, OH. In Florida, Betty worked at Seapines Rehabilitation Hospital in Melbourne, Lawnwood Hospital in Ft. Pierce and the Sebastian Hospital in Sebastian.

Betty was a long time resident of Warren, OH where she lived since graduating from University High School Morgantown, WV, in 1954, at the age of 18. She then graduated from Youngstown State University in Ohio with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Management. Betty moved to Palm Bay, FL in 1985 to be close to her two sons and grandchildren.
