Audrey Martin, 87, of Delano, Florida passed away March 5, 2014 at the Florida Hospital of Deland.
Ms. Martin was born in Jackson, Ohio and came to Brevard County in 1955 from Eustis, Florida. She worked as a radio dispatcher and later as the Assistant Communications Director for the Brevard County Sherriff’s Department.
Ms. Martin is predeceased by husband of 64 years, Sanford Martin and her brother, Kenneth Henderson.
She is survived by her children, Laura Ellen Martin, Sandra Jackson (Ken) and Randall Martin. Ms. Martin is also survived by her grand-daughter , Jenell Pratley (Bill), and two great grandchildren, Jackson Pratley and Maren Pratley; One sister, Juanita Forshey and numerous nieces and nephews.
Ms. Martin was an avid gardener and seamstress. She enjoyed picnics, reading and doing crossword puzzles and also created beautiful embroideries. Ms. Martin always looked after her family and she will be sorely missed.
