Tony was known for his devotion to family, sense of humor, beautiful smile, and quiet strength. He was an usher at Ascension Catholic Church, a World War II vet, and a member of the Elks and Moose. He enjoyed gardening, bowling, playing pool, and cooking for family gatherings.
He is survived by his three daughters, Sue (Neal) Tompkins, Frances, and Lisa Addeo-Colen (Fred); two grandchildren, Jad Tompkins and Jennifer (Chris) Leech; and one great-grandchild, Evan Leech. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 63 years, Loretta, in January 2011.
The family will receive friends Friday, 5-8 p.m., with a vigil service at 6:30, at Florida Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be Saturday, 11 a.m., at Ascension Catholic Church.
